The primary objective of implementing the internationalization policy is to integrate the University into the global medical education arena and enhance its institutional recognition. This is achieved by internationalizing learning, teaching, and research activities.
To facilitate this, the internationalization policy focuses on:
Planning and implementing international mobility for students and staff.
Developing and executing joint programs.
Organizing extracurricular academic activities.
Objectives of the Internationalization Policy:
Facilitate the integration of University students and staff into educational exchange programs, qualification improvement courses, and professional development training. This ensures that higher medical education meets both region-specific medical challenges and global healthcare demands.
Invite and involve foreign professors, teachers, field specialists, and experts in the planning, development, and implementation of programs. This collaboration is based on agreements and memoranda of international collaboration between universities.
Plan, develop, implement, and enhance educational programs, scientific research projects, international conferences, summer schools, international forums, and other academic events.
Organize workshops, conferences, and meetings with academic and administrative staff from partner institutions in various formats (distant, hybrid, and in-person) periodically. These gatherings aim to share good clinical practices and disseminate knowledge on recent achievements and innovations in the medical field.
Promote the University's membership in leading international medical associations and professional organizations to build and increase international visibility and recognition.
